Continuing our learning path via THM, we now move on to the SQL Fundamentals room which is one of my weaker areas so I am excited to brush up on the things that I already know and learn/reaffirm some knowledge that I may not have or have forgot!
This room covers the following topics –
- Understand what databases are, as well as key terms and concepts
- Understand the different types of databases
- Understand what SQL is
- Understand and be able to use SQL CRUD Operations
- Understand and be able to use SQL Clauses Operations
- Understand and be able to use SQL Operations
- Understand and be able to use SQL Operators
- Understand and be able to use SQL Functions
Overall, this was a good room, it refreshes the topic and advises how to construct SQL statements in a logical way.
Another positive point which the room runs through is the scenario of creating a database table for a book store and adding tables within a relational database.
The room also teaches about CRUD Operations, Clauses, Operators and Functions.
