Tuesday time, means more THM!
Today we move on to Protocols and Servers 2!
In this module we will cover Sniffing Attacks, Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) Attacks, Transport Layer Security (TLS), Secure Shell (SSH) and Password Attacks.
Overall, nice easy room to start the day off with. Quite a good explanation at the importance of encryption with a fun hydra password cracking of an imap user at the end.
Next, we move onto the the Net Sec Challenge module!

Overall, most of the problems were easy, apart from the FTP section which would no work on my machine for some reason, it wasn’t until I tried doing on the attack box that it work as intended. Another fail for THM!
Now we move on to the Vulnerabilities 101 module!
In this module we will cover Introduction to Vulnerabilities, Scoring Vulnerabilities (CVSS & VPR), Vulnerability Databases, An Example of Finding a Vulnerability and Showcase: Exploiting Ackme’s Application.
