Thursday is here and we carry on the grind with THM!
Today we carry on with the Jr Penetration Tester path and move on to the Principles of Security module.
In this module we will cover The CIA Triad, Principles of Privileges, Security Models Continued and Threat Modelling & Incident Response.
We should be able to do a couple of modules today as I already know most of the topics covered within these easy/informational level rooms but we will see how we go timewise!
Overall, easy module, all of the contents included I already knewn (also because I swear I’ve done this module previously) and there seems to be an overlap with modules within THM as this seems very similar to one I did earlier in the year.
Next we move on to the Passive Reconnaissance module on THM!

Overall, very basic but as I will keep reaffirming it’s always best to ensure you’ve got these down!
We now move on to the Active Reconnaissance module on THM!

Overall, very basic room with basic concepts however as I always say, it’s never a bad idea to cover basic topics to make sure they are still fresh in your mind!
Next we move on to the Nmap Live Host Discovery on THM!
In this module we will cover Subnetworks, Enumerating Targets, Discovering Live Hosts, Nmap Host Discovery Using ARP, Nmap Host Discovery Using ICMP, Nmap Host Discovery Using TCP and UDP and Using Reverse-DNS Lookup.
Overall, Interesting room about Nmap and in particular different ways of ping scanning and ARP scanning. Quite a useful room!
