Today we start the SOC Fundamentals section of the Cyber Security 101 pathway via THM.
This module takes you through what a SOC is, what are the purposes of a SOC, the pillars of a SOC and it end with a practical at the end of the module.
We then moved onto the next section which was Digital Forensics Fundamentals!
This module is about Digital Forensics Methodology, Evidence Acquisition, Windows Forensics and contains a Practical Example of Digital Forensics.
Quite a good ground-level room about the advised topic which was quite fun to go through even though I have a feeling of Déjà vu as I feel that I had already done this room some time ago..
Keeping on, keeping on we move on to the Incident Response Fundamentals room!
This room covers “What are Incidents?”, “Types of Incidents”, “Incident Response Process”, Incident “Response Techniques” and lastly a practical section named “Lab Work Incident Response”.
This module covers information that is not typical or required for my job role or progession however it is always useful to know these types of things and how the cookie is made if you get my meaning.
